• We make a great team

We are a school specialized in teaching Spanish as a foreign language. We are a cooperative company formed by teachers, who want to work together to improve every day through direct contact with our students and build our dream with a lot of attention and dedication.

I spent my childhood playing in the streets. I was a teenager in the 80s and rock has been with me ever since. I started working very young and so could afford to travel: I met people and places that changed me forever. With the arrival of the new century I started a family and put a lot of energy into creating this school. Many responsibilities: I have become more serene without losing my restless side. I’m a normal guy, always with a smile and a desire to help.

I am from Alcalá de Henares, the city of Cervantes, I have Cordoban blood and I have spent half my life teaching Spanish in different countries: Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Belgium. I have worked in several universities and at the Cervantes Institute. My passions: learning minority languages, travelling and reading. What I like most in the world is to talk, always best over a good meal. I am a happy person and feel very fortunate to be part of this wonderful school.

I am from the Dominican Republic, I have been living in Spain since 1998. It is always difficult to start over, but now I am very happy here in Madrid. I work as a cleaner at this school where I can do my work independently, there is a very good atmosphere among the people here. I love spending time having fun with my friends. The most important thing in my life is my son and my mother, who both live with me. I am a determined person and proud to be a member of this cooperative.

I‘ve been a part of the team almost from the beginning and although I’ve done a lot of different things, I‘ve always been motivated to teach. I speak Chinese and I have worked for almost 15 years in museums. I enjoy playing volleyball, reading science fiction, watching series and sleeping. There is nothing better than cheese and wine to accompany a good conversation. I’m curious, I’m keen to innovate and contribute to what I learn.

I was born in Madrid, I taught Spanish in Italy and when I returned to my city I started working in Spanish schools where I fought to improve working conditions. It occurred to me then that it would be possible to create a school run by teachers and today it is a reality! I love good discussions, music and literature, although my greatest passion is politics. Food and drink are great pleasures. I’m sociable and enjoy watching the school grow day by day.

I am the son of Cuban immigrants and, although I was born in Cuba, I have spent most of my life in Madrid. I have also lived in Belgium, Italy and the United States. I‘ve always liked everything related to languages, so besides being a teacher I’m also a translator. My passions are basketball and singing. I love my work because it allows me to learn a lot about other cultures. I am respectful and my priority is for students to feel comfortable.

I am Sevillana by birth, Granadan by heart and Madrileña by adoption. To this mixture of places I must add another very special one for me: Munich. I lived there for eleven years, nine of which I devoted to teaching Spanish. I love walking in nature but also in the city. A perfect day: eating out with friends and enjoying a good movie on the couch. I’m open, a good conversationalist and I like to put a lot of effort into preparing my classes.

Although I was born in Madrid, I am a guy from the outskirts, from a place called Sector 3 where a science fiction film could be shot. I started teaching Spanish to foreigners in 2010, and since 2015 I‘ve been part of this school. I watch 365 films a year and if the end of the world came I would undoubtedly be caught in a cinema. I think cats are a man’s best friend. I’m creative and I love to prepare fun activities and materials for classes.

I studied translation and specialized in teaching Spanish, which has helped me get to know diverse and exciting people and cultures. Now I live in Madrid, my favourite city, but before this I have lived in China and the United States. When I‘m not working, I play guitar and sing in the shower, but never at the same time! I like cinema and going out with my friends. I’m fun and in my classes I transmit my positive energy.

I‘ve been from Madrid since I was ten years old, but it’s always been clear to me that I wanted to discover the world. I love being a Spanish teacher and this profession has always guided my life. I have lived in Russia where I was able to enjoy the Moscow counterculture in the 90s. A perfect day: to go with my daughter to see the Retiro puppets and to find a concert where to dance and sing. My refuge: Tarkovsky’s movies. I am a smiley person and have a great ability to involve students in my classes.

I was born in Madrid and recently graduated in Hispanic Philology I moved to Italy to teach Spanish language and literature for fourteen years. In addition to giving different training courses for teachers, my enthusiasm for Information and communications technology led me to create the blog lenguayotrasluces.com, where I share teaching material for learning the Spanish language. I am a creative and enthusiastic person who likes his job.

I was born and raised in Madrid. I studied Hispanic Philology and, when I finished university, I fulfilled a dream: to live in Japan. I spent three years in Fukuoka studying a postgraduate degree, working as a teacher and enjoying its gastronomy and hot springs. Afterwards, life took me to Buenos Aires, where I continued working, drinking good wine and living adventures for another three years. When I returned to Madrid I wanted to continue teaching Spanish and I have found the school where I like to do it. I am patient and empathetic.

I‘m from Barcelona but I don’t speak Catalan because I actually grew up in Getafe. I was born at the end of the seventies and I live with my mother. I studied philosophy but I don‘t usually talk about Kant in the classroom: I prefer chascarrillos, jokes and colloquial expressions. Apart from teaching, I love literature, in particular if it’s from the 19th century, and I‘m one of those people who pushes a door when it clearly says "PULL". I’m ironic, affectionate and my classes don’t lack humour.
