Manuela Aparicio Sanz

I have a degree in Hispanic Philology, specializing in Spanish as a foreign language, and I’ve been teaching in Spain and Italy for more than twenty years. I like creating a friendly and fun atmosphere where humor, creativity, and collaboration make learning feel natural.

Besides teaching, I created the blog lenguajeayotrasluces.com, a personal project about language, literature, and creativity. I especially enjoy creating my own teaching materials and resources, adapted to each group and each way of learning.

Laura Domingo Vera

I’m Laura, and before becoming a Spanish teacher, I worked in several museums, including the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, where I led tours for children.

I have a degree in Art History and also studied Asian Studies, which is why I learned Chinese and traveled to China several times. As a child, I wanted to be Indiana Jones. I really like English, I love reading science fiction, and I played volleyball for many years.

Sergio Ojeda Rodríguez

I’m Sergio, one of the founders of Cronopios. We started the cooperative 14 years ago with the aim of bringing dignity to a profession that was often undervalued and teaching our language and culture from a different perspective.

I’ve always loved languages and everything related to them, so besides teaching, I’ve worked as a translator and interpreter. I really enjoy reading, playing games, and singing, although since my daughter was born four years ago, I hardly have time for anything that doesn’t involve her.

Beatriz Velázquez del Pozo

I’ve been teaching Spanish for more than 15 years. I studied Hispanic Philology, Linguistics, and a Master’s degree in Language and Communication Sciences. I’m passionate about languages! 💗 I’ve worked in Japan, Argentina, and Spain. Studying Japanese has helped me better understand the difficulties that can arise when learning such a different language and to develop clear, visual ways of explaining grammar.

In my classes, I try to create a calm and friendly atmosphere where students can gradually build their confidence. I like using drawings, diagrams, and examples to make learning more intuitive and dynamic. Outside the classroom, I enjoy creative activities such as crochet, a hobby that connects closely with the way I teach: with patience, attention to detail, and weaving connections. 😊

Clara Molero Perea

Everyone in my family calls me Clara María. From a very young age, I knew that teaching languages was what I wanted to do, so I studied Hispanic Philology at the University of Alcalá. I spent half my life in the Balkans because my other great passion is traveling and learning languages—that’s why I speak the language of Ivo Andrić and Yorgos Seferis.

I’ve been working at Cronopios, my home, for a decade. The Spanish classroom is my therapy; I really enjoy teaching, and I can’t imagine doing anything else.

Luisa Bellido Florido

Born in Seville, Granadan at heart, and an adopted Madrileña, I’ve been part of the Cronopios Idiomas team for 8 years. I’m a teacher by vocation because I love helping others learn my language and teaching them about its culture.

I’ve also spent my whole life learning languages, so I understand my students’ feelings very well. That’s why empathy and understanding are essential in my classes.
